Searching for an in-person electric bike training course for your kid, tween or teen in Orange County communities like Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Rancho San Margarita and Lake Forest?

E-Bike Sense offers private, semi-private and group electric bike training courses for youth in Orange County and throughout Southern California. Here’s just some of the things you can expect when you sign your child up for an in-person electric bike training program in Orange County.

Expect lots of Hands-On Education

E-Bike Sense’s in-person trainings give students the opportunity to connect what they learn in the intimate on-site “classroom” to the road – because the majority of your child’s two-hour training will have them interacting with their bike, helmet, peers and local neighborhood streets. You can be confident that they’re paying attention and getting the most out of their experience – because they’ll be on their bike, learning from a certified electric-bike instructor who has decades of experience in public education.

Expect a Certificate of Completion to Share with School or Court

At the successful conclusion of the E-Bike Sense training in Orange County, your child will earn a Certificate of Completion. You may consider showing this certificate to your child’s school or to the court, as many campuses are now requiring e-bike riders to complete a training course before riding their bike to campus – and, if your child is ticketed, it may be more affordable to purchase a training course than pay the ticket.

Expect an Emphasis on Helmet Safety

It’s estimated that more than half of children, tweens and teens don’t know how to properly wear, adjust or use a bicycle helmet. Poor or no helmet use – combined with the high speeds of e-bike or e-scooter use – can be deadly. During their E-Bike Sense training, your child’s in-person certified e-bike instructor will review bike helmets as a safety necessity and legal requirement, providing hands-on education on proper helmet use and wear.
